“I have completed the Working Genius Certification Training offered through the Table Group. As a Certified Working Genius Facilitator, I have received hands-on training from the Table Group team and been equipped with the tools and resources to help people leverage the Working Genius model with individuals, teams and organizations.”

The Working Genius assessment is 20% personality and 80% productivity. People who understand their genius show up to work happier, are more effective, and play well with others.

To imagine, to picture, envision, visualize. To dream, create, discover, invent. To imagine indicates a creative act, emphasizing the role of invention. Furthermore, to imagine suggests a deliberate entertaining of something totally contrary to what is already known.

Do you allow yourself time and place to imagine? Do you intentionally carve time into your schedule for creative thought, imagining how things might or should be; visualizing the very different outcome you seek? Tapping into your imagination can be incredibly freeing, invigorating, and stimulating. Imagining can also be practical in producing real possibilities and specific tasks that one must complete in order to achieve the perceived impossible.

INFLUENCE - TO BRING ABOUT CHANGE

The ability to have an effect on a person’s behavior, thinking or feelings – preferably a positive effect. To influence is to bring about a change in someone by persuasion, example, or action.

Are you aware of the influence you have on others? Do you wish to have a more positive impact? As always, it begins with you. People are following your example. Do you model the type of behavior and attitude you desire in others? Begin by developing your relationship with those with whom you wish to influence. From a relationship grounded by trust and fostered by congruency (that is, doing what you say – like, integrity – ooh, another “I” word), you will begin to see the fruits of your influence.

INSPIRE - WHAT A POWERFUL WORD

What a powerful word. To inspire goes way beyond encouraging or even giving hope. To inspire literally means to breathe in, to infuse with confidence and an enthusiasm, propelling one to incredible heights. To inspire others is probably the single most important mission of a leader, and unfortunately, a responsibility too many ignore.

Do you acknowledge this significant role – to inspire others? Do you want those around you to be remarkable and produce extraordinary results? Start by evaluating your words, your verbal and nonverbal communications, and your actions toward others. Be an “uplifter,” let others know you believe in them and impart to them your overflowing enthusiasm. Please note to fully grasp this critical role in leadership, you may have to deal with your own fears, attitudes, and self-doubt.
