Partner Biographies

Rodd Welker

Rodd has a unique blend of senior level managerial and administrative experience in business, higher education and non-profit organizations. He has more than 20 years of educating employees and students and has taught collegiate classes in business, leadership, and adult development. His experience also includes seven years as a college basketball coach. Rodd is a specialist in executive leadership development, human relations, and teambuilding. 

Rodd also owns FranchiseMart of Akron where he assists individuals in finding the right franchise for business ownership and businesses who desire to franchise.

Rodd serves on the Wayne and Ashland County Young Life committee, the Leadership Wooster steering committee, Wayne Area Human Resource Association, and is a member of the Professional Business Coaches Alliance.  He is also very active at Orrville Christian Church where he sings in the Praise Ensemble, and teaches Sunday school. 

You may also see Rodd at a local high school basketball game officiating both boys and girls varsity and junior varsity games.

Rodd holds a master’s degree in student development and higher education administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from West Liberty University.

Rodd is married to Martha, and they have three sons: Tyler, an animator at Sound Ideas, Inc. in Indiana; Chad, a sophomore at the University of Akron; and Westin, a junior at Wooster High School.

Greg Swartzentruber, CPA

Greg has a wide variety of small business experience. He has been around small business his entire life, beginning as a youngster growing up in a family-owned automobile dealership where he later worked as a teenager. Soon he found a passion and understanding for the management and sales responsibilities of an organization.  As a college student, Greg worked as an accountant in a construction company owned by his older brother.  After college, with his brothers and father, he began a successful business in building and marketing conversion vans and accessories.  In 1993, Greg began his own CPA firm and has grown it to a successful practice which he currently owns today.

Greg is active in at Orrville Christian Church as an elder and financial secretary. He also volunteers time to Kingsway Christian School with their financial committee. 

Greg holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in accounting and finance. He earned his CPA license in 1991. He is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Professional Business Coaches Alliance.

Greg has been married to Donna for 23 years. They have three daughters, Emily 20, Andrea 17 and Olivia 14.
